Review Policy

Hello, welcome to my blog! Thank you for your interest in viewing my blog as a possible reviewer. If you're looking forward to working with me, I am willing and more than happy to receive review copies from authors/agents/publishers.

PREFERENCES

• I only accept book review requests for books with age range middle grade to new adult only. I most prefer young adults.
• Sub-genres accepted are contemporary, fantasy, retellings, historical fiction, science fiction, paranormal, mystery/thriller and dystopia/utopia.
• I don't accept book review requests for erotica, poetry, non-fiction.
• Themes that I love include: familial, friendship, self-discovery, friends-to-lovers relationship.
• I accept reviews for both digital and physical copies. For digital, I personally prefer the file type to be ePUB, mobi or fb2. If you're thinking of sending me a physical copy, it should be noted that I live in Malaysia.

POLICY

• I will only write my honest, unbiased and fair opinion. Not all of my reviews are good but they are all completely honest.
• I use a star-rating system.
• I will post my review on this blog and Goodreads. I'm currently inactive in my other social media accounts.
• I reserve the right to not post a book review about a review copy.
• I am currently a student in university and I don’t always have a lot of time to read. I can’t guarantee how quickly reviews will be posted but I do try and post them the month of their release, if not the exact date.

STAR-RATING SYSTEM

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: It's one of my favourite books now! I will totally recommend this book to everyone I know and read it from time to time.

⭐⭐⭐: I enjoyed reading this but I don't feel anything new with this book. Might still recommend this book to some people.

⭐⭐: I enjoyed reading this to a certain extent but I find this book slightly problematic/lack of originality/missing in other aspects. Might work for anyone else but not me.

⭐: I didn't enjoy reading this book at all and will not recommend it. Maybe it's just not for me.

• I would also appreciate it if you include age group, content warning and offered formats in your email.
• I will try to get back to you in 72 hours, though you may not hear a response from me at all.
